AVISO – Monday, July 15th, 9:30 a.m.: PK BMJ investigative commission presents results

Commission chairman Martin Kreutner and the commission present the results of their investigation.

Vienna (OTS) – After the publication of an audio recording of a conversation with a high-ranking former member of the judiciary in which attempted political influence on public prosecutor’s proceedings was discussed, an independent high-level commission was set up by the Federal Ministry of Justice in December 2023 to investigate such allegations. On Monday she will present her results and recommendations.

The following will be present from the Commission:

• Martin Kreutner, em. Dean IACA, Chairman
• Angelika Prechtl-Marte, President of the Feldkirch Regional Court
• Peter Küspert, retired President of the Bavarian Constitutional Court and the Munich Higher Regional Court
