Vienna (OTS) – A festival moves the masses: More than 2.5 million visitors on the Danube Island – millions in front of the ORF screens. A total of 1.606 million (widest circle of viewers) saw the comprehensive coverage of the Danube Island Festival 2024 via ORF III, which is 21 percent of the domestic TV population aged 12 and over.
Wolfgang Ambros’ appearance on Saturday, June 22nd leads the ORF III live broadcast rankings with a reach of up to 178,000 or an average of 137,000 with a seven percent market share. Christina Sturm live (also on June 22nd) with an average reach of 109,000 and Andreas Vitásek with 100,000 on June 23rd also exceeded the 100,000 mark.

Today, the day after the big open-air event, ORF III looks back on a brilliant festival weekend and shows the “Cabaret highlights from the Donauinselfest 2024” (Monday, June 24th, from 8:15 p.m.): Andreas Vitásek opens the humorous evening with his program “Cabaret meets football”, followed by Lydia Prenner-Kasper with a “Damenspitzerl” (8.50 p.m.). Petutschnig Hons also gets a laugh with his latest solo “Bauernschlau” (9.40 p.m.), followed by Stefan Haider (10.15 p.m.), Nadja Maleh (10.50 p.m.) and Caroline Athanasiadis (11.25 p.m.). Walter Kammerhofer says “Wiad scho” (12:00 a.m.), then the Carinthian with Serbian roots, Ina Jovanovic, talks about her life in Vienna (12:25 a.m.) and finally comedian Romeo Kaltenbrunner looks for love and recognition (12:55 a.m.).
