Young winemaker revives Pulkautal
St. Pölten (ots) –

For the “Land and Young People” section, 27-year-old Katharina Baumgartner shows how she revives a region with an urge to act and a sense of community. The winemaker wants to make the pulse valley in the northern Weinviertel in Lower Austria better known. Art, culture, nature and wine should bring synergies and convey the beauty of the area. For her project, she was looking for motivated companions from agriculture, culture and trade and together different projects were developed. For example, there are now readings in the wine cellar, literary evenings with local artists or wine that is sounded with music from the region. From sports to wine, the common ideas should bring more added value to the Pulkautal.
