Vienna’s health promotion has recently been offering its popular City Challenge for young people between the ages of 12 and 19 in the Wieden district. The special thing about it is that around 50 students from the Wiedner Gymnasium and the BRG 4 Waltergasse have developed these health tours for the same age and have now been awarded for their great commitment. “The Wiedner youngsters have developed the tasks and stations of these tours based on their feel-good locations and favorite offers in the district. This approach helps to ensure that the City Challenge is very popular and that the participants playfully deal with health knowledge and well-being,” said Dennis Beck, Managing Director of Vienna’s health promotion-WIG, about the new tour offer in the 4th district, which is free until October 205 or youth -specific institutions can be booked. The opening tour took place in the Anton-Benya-Park, in which the Wiedner district manager Mag.A Lea Halbwidl was there: “The City Challenge is a kind of schnitzel hunt through the district and offers young people the opportunity to experience the Wieden from completely new perspectives and get to know their district better.”
