Young art and techno on August 3, 2024 at the Semmelweis Clinic

On Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 2 p.m., the washroom at Hockegasse 37, House 4, will be open for a special exhibition event: “BIRTH – Individuality of today’s youth in art”. This one-day exhibition is accompanied by a modern techno music program. Ten talented young artists between the ages of 18 and 21 present their works in the former laundry room of the Semmelweis Clinic in the 18th district. The event will be accompanied by a techno DJ set.

Together with the curator Eva-Maria Biribauer (www.inventivespirits.com), the young artists have the goal of turning the event into a total work of art. “At a time when the voice of youth in the art scene is becoming increasingly louder and more present, the project ‘Individuality of today’s youth in art’ focuses on the perspectives, forms of expression and creative approaches of young artists,” says the Organizer Madge Gill Bukasa.

The close collaboration with the experienced artist and curator as well as the young people’s active participation in the planning and implementation of the exhibition event is intended to promote their creative development and offer them valuable insights into the art world.
