1.5 million Austrians from the age of 15 smoke daily Cigarettes. That is around 21 percent of the population, the Health Insurance Fund ÖGK emphasized on Wednesday on the occasion of the World Niche Smoking Day on May 31. Five other percent consume E-every dayCigarettesSix percent use other tobacco and nicotine products such as tobacco heaters, shisha or nicotine bags. The ÖGK criticizes these as a supposedly healthier alternative.
