The day of Human rights is celebrated by the international community on December 10th every year. This day commemorates the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. The Austrian League for Human rights has made demands on politicians on this occasion. The Human rights will be “massively under pressure” in 2024, it was said on Monday at the presentation of the “Findings 2024” on the situation of the basic and Human rights. The league calls for increased social dialogue and concrete measures to protect both Human rights as well as social justice.
