The FPÖ rejects the diversification of gas supply sources and wants to unconditionally hand Austria over to the Putin regime. “The FPÖ’s allegiance to Putin would have once again brought massive consequences and massively damaged our country,” said the People’s Party’s managing club chairman, August Wöginger.
“We have Chancellor Karl Nehammer to thank for taking precautions. Households and the economy will have enough gas available even in winter,” said Wöginger, who concluded: “It is more important to the FPÖ to maintain a friendship treaty with Putin than to act responsibly for the people of Austria.”
