At the beginning of 2026, the office center of the Brau Union Austria moved from Linz’s Poschacherstrasse to the newly built, centrally located Quadrill on the area of the tobacco factory.
The Brau Union Campus, according to the name of the new office location, will fill the four floors of the Virginia house of the Quadrill at the site of the tobacco factory. The interior design, which progresses well, is on schedule. The gradual move of the Linz workforce is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
“Our new brau Union Campus optically reflects our modern, networked work and fulfills our claim to an innovative work environment. The headquarters of the Brau Union Austria remains in Linz. The central location in Austria is important for the cooperation of our 12 regional and local Austrian breweries. A big plus is that we are now in the heart of Linz, right next to our Linz brewery. Refurbishment of the existing office building in Poschacherstrasse, due to the building of the building, do not make sense ecologically or economically, ”says Hans Böhm, CEO of the Brau Union Austria.
Important selection criteria for the location were the good public accessibility and the good range of shops, local and leisure opportunities in the vicinity of the office building. On four floors, the employees find a modern work environment for flexible and open cooperation. Good prospects for the Linz Center and the Pöstlingberg will offer both an area for lunch and large meetings on the fourth floor as well as the roof terrace, which can be used for meetings in small rounds or breaks.
“It is important to me that our employees feel good at the new location in this central location and are well prepared for our new modern work environment and are supported by the new office in their innovative, networked way of working and are proud of the Brau Union Austria as an employer in Austria,” adds Peter Zielonka, HR Director of the Brau Union Austria.
