“In the future, I will continue to be on the side of all people who contact the public prosecutor with an authority problem,” Gaby Schwarz thanks for the renewed nomination as a prosecutor by the ÖVP Parliament Club. “To be able to help those who treat themselves unjustly, abandoned by the administration or feel overwhelmed by the administration is a great honor. I have had this task with full strength and passion for the past three years. I will also do this in the coming period,” emphasizes People’s Prosecutor and is happy about trust in her work.
“Austria’s administration is well positioned in an international comparison. But that does not mean that there is no improvement potential,” Gaby Schwarz refers to 24,000 symptoms to the prosecutor in the previous year. “Improvements to civil -friendly and service -oriented authorities remain my focus. It is crucial that authorities react quickly and apologize to those affected when mistakes happen,” says the prosecutor one of her core claims. “As a woman and as a prosecutor, I will continue to campaign in the fight against violence on women. Because women’s rights are human rights. And the public prosecutor is the House of Human Rights in Austria!”
