With the raising of the Buschen, this year’s Weinviertel festival was ceremoniously opened today at the historic “Am Hof” square in downtown Vienna.
Weinviertel (OTS) – Weinviertel direct marketers, winemakers, excursion destinations and restaurants will be presenting the diverse offerings of the Weinviertel in Vienna’s city center until May 17th. In addition, a colorful stage program invites you to information, culture and entertainment.

From exciting museums and adventure worlds to baroque castles and untouched natural areas to picturesque cellar alleys – the Weinviertel really has something to offer for everyone.

Colorful stage program creates atmosphere
In addition to culinary delights and information, a colorful stage program invites you to enjoy the best entertainment. Presented by Weinviertel Austropop star Clemens Reinsperger, one highlight follows the next. From the morning pint with the Trio Weltlin (Thursday, May 16th, 11:30 a.m.) and the Fiatamusi (Friday, May 16th, 11:30 a.m.) to the twilight pint with the Staatz youth band (Thursday, May 16th, 6:00 p.m.) and the music club Haringsee (Friday, May 17th, 6 p.m.): The stage is rocking! Great prizes await participants at the Weinviertel Spin the Bottle.
