At the gala event of the magazine journalist (Oberauer Verlag) in the ORF center, the Brussels correspondent of ORF, Raffaela Schai rider, was named “Journalist of 2024”. She had some important messages with her. We need role models and alarm calls in the media industry.

The greatest capital of a reputable media facility are its journalists, but their most important asset is credibility. You have to work with hard, critical work for the common good and the free-democratic rule of law. Otherwise, a one-party state, unfortunately like Turkey, threatens to become a de facto half or full democracy.
