Numerous guests of honor were impressed by the completely renovated feel-good world and the new rooms and suites. State Councilor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, creative group Verena Schneider and dancing star Conny Kreuter were there, to name just a few. The festive event marks a new chapter in the history of the Heilthermen Resort, which is characterized by innovative strength and sustainability in Austrian tourism. Women’s quota? Practice lived in the Heilthermen Resort

In addition to the official reopening, the focus of the event was also an exciting panel discussion that highlighted the role of women. “Tourism is female,” says Gernot Deutsch. “Women make up the majority in tourism professions and they make decisions when traveling more often than men. So it was my goal to put the future of modern thermal tourism in the hands of experts.” Among the participants on the podium were leading personalities from the resort team who played a key role in the successful implementation of the master plan. Furthermore, the architect who is responsible for the new rooms and suites, as well as other companions of the Styrian company. Women’s power is not only lived in the Heilthermen Resort, but is a mainstay of the company’s philosophy, as managing director Gernot Deutsch emphasizes: “Women bring a balance between innovation and sensitivity. They have a decisive influence on the success of our resort.” The company currently employs around 240 people, three quarters of whom are female. More than half of the management team are women, which fortunately makes quota regulations in our company unnecessary. “As a woman in the hotel industry, I rely on empathy and communication to create a harmonious environment. Our success is based on strong cooperation and the passion to inspire our guests every day,” emphasizes Maria Grüner, Head of Hotel Reception.

Thermal water and the power of naturalness

The master plan for the Heilthermen Resort included a total investment of 23 million euros over four years. This sum flowed into the renovation of numerous rooms, suites and balconies and into the modernization of the hotel thermal baths for a more unforgettable holiday experience. Further measures followed to offer employees even more comfort. The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf relies on “The Power of Naturalness”. The healing thermal water plays a central role – a unique energy source that feeds fresh, soothing water into the pools in both the hotel and the thermal spa.

The new claim “Touched by Water” underlines the importance of thermal water for the resort. The experience of peace, relaxation and closeness to nature becomes a lasting moment of well-being for the guests. Guests find the power of naturalness throughout the resort: in the treatments, in the cuisine, in sustainability and of course in the employees.
