Under the motto “Donate Amore – and a little bit of money”, Wanda and the Samaritan Association of Vienna invite you to help together this year! The cult band’s concert on December 21, 2024 in the Vienna Stadthalle will not only be a musical highlight, but also an important contribution to supporting people in need. The donations collected will benefit the “Samariter Kisterl” project, which distributes essential food and hygiene products to families and individuals in need.
Christmas is the time of solidarity, sharing and helping. The band is happy to make a difference together with their fans and to support the Samaritan Association in this important project. Visitors to the concert can hand in their monetary donations before and after the concert directly in the Wiener Stadthalle. The Samaritan Association of Vienna collects at fixed stands and is on the road with donation boxes.
Project Samariter Kisterl – because poverty makes you sick
“Poverty shows itself in many facets. Poverty also makes you sick. And if in everyday life there is not enough on the plate at every meal to satisfy hunger, if there is only enough money to buy food that makes people sick, then society needs to band together. We are very pleased that Wanda and her fans are setting an example with us,” says Oliver Löhlein, Managing Director of the Samaritan Association of Vienna.
With the Samariter Kisterl project, supporters help people affected by poverty directly: with 30 euros a box can be filled for an individual, with a donation of 60 euros you can help an entire family and give a portion of confidence and health.
