SPÖ parliamentary group publicly rejects Hergovich’s cheap populism
St. Pölten (OTS) – Regarding today’s article in the “Kronen Zeitung”, in which Against-eh-alles State Councilor Sven Hergovich once again tries to distract from the rift with his own party through cheap populism, VPNÖ state manager Federal Councilor Matthias Zauner has clear words: “For weeks and In the last few months in Lower Austria we have been witnessing a policy of self-promotion by the SPÖ Lower Austria chairman Hergovich, who has invented the title ‘Control Provincial Councilor’ for himself, while his compatriots only refer to him as the ‘Against-Eh-Alles-Provincial Councilor’. This has now gotten to the point where even his own club is opposing Hergovich’s populism. The most recent highlight of this development is the approval of the SPÖ parliamentary group for Carinthia’s inflation adjustment model. While Counter-Eith-Everything Provincial Councilor Hergovich rails against the model of the SPÖ Carinthia and the SPÖ Vienna. It’s obvious that he doesn’t have his own club under control – this is made abundantly clear by the discrepancy between his cheap populism and the sensible decisions of his SP faction. As long as Hergovich does nothing for our country and only draws attention to himself by refusing to work, he should donate his entire salary – not just the inflation adjustment.
