Vienna’s ÖVP submits a statement of the facts to the public prosecutor’s office
Vienna (OTS) – As the Vienna People’s Party revealed, the alleged protest movement Dar al Janub (Arabic for “House of the South”) has its headquarters in a municipal building in Ottakring. “The tenancy must be checked immediately by Wiener Wohnen. While the SPÖ is inactive, we are submitting a statement of the facts to the public prosecutor’s office. This is the usual way in a constitutional state. As a people’s party, we take a decisive stand against any kind of anti-Semitism and do not overlook the danger of left-wing anti-Semitism,” said the integration spokeswoman for the Vienna People’s Party, local councilor Caroline Hungerländer, in a reaction to today’s report from the documentation archive. “The responsible housing councilor Kathrin Gaal must now examine this case immediately, because we are not of the opinion that the accommodation of this association can be reconciled with the fight against anti-Semitism in the city of Vienna,” concluded the integration spokeswoman.
