Against the background of the constant increase in anti-democratic forces throughout Europe, the Austrian art and culture scene is calling for participation in the Austrian National Council election on September 29, 2024.
As representatives of art and culture in Austria, we are aware of the cultural and economic importance of our work and feel jointly responsible for creating and maintaining an artistic and critical public.
We appeal together to all eligible voters: go vote on September 29th!
Make use of your right to vote and set an example for a vibrant, diverse and critical democracy in our country.
Autocratic tendencies must have no place in our society.
The freedom of art is also the freedom of everyone.
