Virtual press conference in the run -up to the Pharmig Academy Rare Diseases Dialogs

Gen therapies open up new ones promising options for the treatment of rare diseases. Initial experiences from practice show her potentialto significantly improve the lives of many affected people. At the same time it is important that Expectations realistic to keep.

How do gene therapies work and what makes it so special? How can the potential of genetic therapies to treat less frequent diseases be exhausted? What contribution can systematic experiences of those affected make?

These and many other questions are the focus of the 17th Rare Diseases dialogue and the virtual press conference. The following experts are available in advance of media representatives:
