Viennese participants shine at the Euroskills 2025

The Euroskills 2025 in Herning (Denmark) have been successfully completed, and the six participants from Vienna have achieved outstanding results at the European Championships. Vienna’s young specialists were able to assert themselves against the strong competition from all over Europe in the international competitions and bring bronze and a medallion for excellence to Vienna.

The results of the Viennese participants in detail

The bronze medal went in the skill IT network and system administration to Stefan Tomp (1130 Vienna) and Tarik Begeta (1160 Vienna). Both are graduates of the HTL Vienna 3 Rennweg and were able to convince the jury with their team performance.

Markus Wizany (1210 Vienna) received a medallion for excellence in the discipline Web Development. The HTL Vienna 3 Rennweg graduate impressively showed that Vienna has outstanding young people in digital development.

In the competition Industry 4.0 David Herzina-Rusch (Altenberg/Lower Austria) and Raphael Beutel (Unterrohrbach/Lower Austria) successfully took part. Both work at ÖBB Infrastructure AG in Vienna and represent the federal capital in this highly complex future profession.

Team Austria ensures a medal rain in Denmark

Austria ends up in the absolute top field of Europe at the EuroSkills 2025 career championships in Denmark: 44 young specialists won a total of 12 medals: six times gold, three times silver, three times bronze and 17 medallions for excellence and thus set a strong sign of the high quality of dual training.

Gold in concrete construction

Particularly impressive from a Vienna perspective: The European championship title and the gold medal in concrete construction went to Lukas Miedler and Lukas Ritzberger, who come from Lower Austria and Upper Austria, but completed their preparation in Vienna at the vocational school for construction industry. Neumann: “This success continues an impressive winning streak – we have been unbeaten in concrete construction for years. With the support of the expert coach, master builder Thomas Prigl from the Vienna Building School, our specialists were able to demonstrate their top position again.”
