Vienna (OTS) – Since 2022, the Vienna Social Fund (FSW) has been providing information and advice on FSW offers and support options with the mobile advisory service “Mitten in Wien”.
“The FSW doesn’t wait for people to come to them. With the mobile advice stand from “Mitten in Wien” the FSW goes where the people are. And all over Vienna, in highly frequented places: in shopping centers, health centers, at district councils and, currently in summer, in outdoor swimming pools. Over 6,600 people have already received the advice they need from “Mitten in Wien”. Since the beginning of 2022, we have reached the Viennese at numerous locations in all districts of Vienna.”

The FSW is currently advising on “Mitten in Wien” until July 12th. in the Gänsehäufel lido. The next stop at an outdoor swimming pool is at the Ottakringer Bad from August 5th to 8th.

“The FSW customer service is expanding its radius with “Mitten in Wien”. This means that advisors can be reached directly and at a low threshold in people’s everyday lives. Some get to know the FSW in the course of their errands or leisure activities and thus benefit from valuable information about the FSW’s offerings. But existing customers also come by and appreciate the direct conversation without making an appointment,”

In the middle of Vienna: focus weeks
In addition to the regular advice on care and support, there are special focus weeks until the end of the year. Experts advise on selected topics on the occasion of national and international action days. From September 9th to 13th, the focus will be on support for caring relatives or from October 7th to 11th on offers for homeless people.
In addition to “In the Middle of Vienna”, the FSW customer hotline can be reached as usual on 01/24 5 24 daily, including Sundays and public holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

About the Vienna Social Fund
The Vienna Social Fund ensures that people in Vienna get the support they need. The offer includes care and support services, assistance for the disabled, assistance for the homeless, debt advice and basic care for refugees. The FSW, together with around 170 partner organizations, supports around 142,000 customers per year quickly and individually. The FSW is also responsible for operating the telephone health advice service 1450 in Vienna.
