The ball highlight of the season on February 8th live on ORF 2 and 3sat
Vienna (OTS) – “Alles Waltz” at the Vienna State Opera! On Thursday, February 8, 2024, the entire evening on ORF 2 and 3sat will be dedicated to the “Vienna Opera Ball 2024” (all information about the comprehensive ORF reporting is available at presse.ORF.at). Mirjam Weichselbraun, Teresa Vogl and Marion Benda in glamorous ball gowns and Andi Knoll, traditionally in a tailcoat, ask the ball guests for an interview. The presenters’ jewelry once again comes from Juwelier Wagner. Karl Hohenlohe and Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz will once again provide expert commentary this year. In addition, Lilian Klebow will be at the Opera Ball for the ORF audience for the first time and will show the highlights of the lavish ball night in “Alles Opernball” on Friday, February 9th at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1.
The presenters’ robes:
Mirjam Weichselbraun in a shimmering tulle gown with sequin decoration…
Mirjam Weichselbraun hosts in a dazzling tulle gown with sequin embellishments by British designer Jenny Packham. The sleeves are designed in a cape effect. The presenter about her dress:
“I’ve been able to wear many beautiful gowns in the ‘Dancing Stars’ ballroom over the last few years and thought it was a shame that they were only used once. That’s why I’ve repeatedly taken older treasures out of the closet in recent seasons. That’s what we’re doing at this year’s Opera Ball! I wanted glitter and color, which screams out for a ‘Dancing Stars’ dress and I’m looking forward to wearing this Jenny Packham dream again.”
Teresa Vogl in a black double…
Teresa Vogl wears a two-piece couture dress by Michel Mayer. The bodice is made of delicate Italian tulle embroidery, draped and appliquéd by hand. Plus a narrow, asymmetrically draped skirt made of silk satin with a train.
Marion Benda in black and gold
Marion Benda hosts her first opera ball in an evening dress from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection by Austrian-Turkish designer Atil Kutoglu. The robe is inspired by Gustav Klimt and the Wiener Werkstätte. Andi Knoll also provides a fashionable touch, presenting in a tailcoat from the “Slim Line” collection from the Viennese company Frack & Co.
Lilian Klebow presents “Alles Opernball” on February 9th on ORF 1
