The historic city of Vienna is with the TEDAI ViennaEurope’s first TED conference dedicated exclusively to the topic of artificial intelligence, the epicenter of innovation. From October 17-19, this groundbreaking, applications-only event will bring together some of the brightest minds in technology, science, ethics and policy to explore the profound impact of AI on society.
A gathering of thought leaders
TEDAI Vienna promises an impressive line-up of speakers including renowned AI researchers, industry pioneers and visionary thinkers. The 22 international speakers include GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, Google DeepMind VP of Research Raia Hadsell, Aleph Alpha founder Jonas Andrulis, Wikipedia CTO Selena Lidmann and Nvidia VP of Enterprise AI Rama Akkiraju, to name just a few. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experts at the forefront of AI advancements, discussing topics ranging from machine learning and robotics to ethical considerations and future implications.
Dynamic panel discussions, workshops and experiences
The conference features a series of panels, workshops and ideation adventures that address critical topics such as AI ethics, the future of work and AI in healthcare. More than 15 thought leaders such as JKU researcher Sepp Hochreiter, Verdas AI CEO Allison Fisher, PwC Global Chief AI Office Joseph Atkinson or WithSecure CRO Mikko Hypponen will contribute different perspectives in stimulating discussions and promote a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities of AI technologies .
Innovations at the hackathon
In addition to the lectures and panels, TEDAI Vienna will host an exciting hackathon at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, open to developers, designers and AI enthusiasts. Participants will work together on innovative projects with the aim of developing AI solutions for real-world problems. The hackathon focuses on solutions for the SDGs and offers a unique platform for practical experiences and networking with like-minded people.

The three-day program has been carefully curated to provide a comprehensive exploration of AI.
