Vienna celebrates culture, culinary delights and handicrafts for four days in September

After a successful premiere in May 2024, which, despite rain, attracted around 54,000 visitors to the Vienna Rathausplatz, that turns Wienliebe Festival in September 2025 in a new season, but back with unchanged charm.
For four days – from September 18 to 21 – the Rathausplatz re is transformed into a stage of joie de vivre, the cultural diversity and the Viennese hospitality. Viennese and guests from all over the world are invited to discover, taste and experience the most beautiful sides of the city.

The festival sees itself as a festival of Vienna for Vienna. It creates an atmosphere that is equally shaped by conviviality, enjoyment and cosiness. Rathausplatz should be a meeting point for people of all generations these days to celebrate, stroll together and immerse yourself in what Vienna makes so lovable and livable.

Ludwig: Festival is “declaration of love to the city”

“The Love of Vienna impressively shows how rich and diverse our city is. With its mixture of music, cuisine and craft, #wienliebe is not only just an event, but also a attitude to life and a declaration of love to the city and its people who do so much every day. The festival brings people together who love Vienna, and turns our city into the stage of its most beautiful facets for four days”emphasized mayor Michael Ludwig.

“It is as diverse as our city is its economy – one of the great strengths of the Vienna business location. I am all the more pleased that after the successful premiere last year we can also organize and celebrate the many pages of Vienna this year. Our city is famous for its culinary delights and services. Vienna’s companies are part of this unique flair, which is expressed in #wienliebe.”said Walter RuckPresident of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce.
