Hütter brings the ÖSV women’s first success this season

I congratulate Cornelia Hütter on her victory and am pleased about this success of our top police athletes. Cornelia Hütter shows in an exemplary manner how, with hard work and enthusiasm for training, success in top-class sport can be combined with a career in the police.

Interior Minister Gerhard Karner

Vienna (OTS) Cornelia Hütter won the Super-G in Zauchensee on January 12, 2024. The top police athlete achieved the first victory of the season for Austria. Top sport in BMI

Top-class sport funding in the Ministry of the Interior is structured as a dual funding system and combines sustainable vocational training with the opportunity to practice sport professionally. On the one hand, top athletes are offered sound professional training and, at the same time, social security outside of their sporting career, and on the other hand, they are granted funding for training, preparation times and competitions.
