The 16th Game City invites everyone to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of games for three days in the Vienna City Hall and on Rathausplatz. No matter whether young or old, gamer or newcomer – the Game City 2025 is a place to get together and experience together.
Vice Mayor Christoph Return announced: “From October 10th to 12th, 2025, we open the gates of the Vienna town hall again for all gaming fans – whether kids, young people, families, school classes or experts. Families with children, adolescents, students, hobby and professional gamers, cosplayers, educators and scientists meet here on industry experts from the gaming world. The special mix makes the Game City a place where not only played, but also experienced, learned and discussed. In addition to classic highlights like eSports tournaments, Cosplay competitions and the international conference F.R.O.G (Future and Reality of Gaming) offers the Wienxtra children’s zone Playful experiences for the youngest – from digital games to board games.
