This year more people are planning to meet their loved ones again Valentine’s Day to give gifts. The willingness to buy for the Valentine’s Day has increased from 58 percent to 62 percent compared to the previous year, but remains constant with an average of 55 euros in spending per person, according to a survey by KMU Forschungs Austria on behalf of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ). The total expenditure for February 14th will therefore rise to 235 million euros.
