The Uplink Group, based in Düsseldorf, received a majority stake in the Luxembourg Connectcom S.à RL and its daughter Nouvelle Radiocom S.à RL on January 27, 2025.
Connectcom is a partner of the nationwide digital radio network operator for the police, fire brigade and emergency services in Luxembourg and a long-time partner of Motorola Solutions GmbH. Other customers are large industrial companies, European institutions, as well as special forces from various countries in Europe.
The two shareholders of Connectcom, Claude Dupont and Claude Deitz remain as managing directors in the company, Claude Dupont is now taking over the development of the German Landesgesellschaft Uplink Systems GmbH, which, like the Connectcom in Luxembourg, with well -known solution providers as well as already established cooperation partners such as the Abel & Kaufl mobile trading trade GmbH, PEI Tel Communications GmbH and ATS Elektronik GmbH.
With the transaction, Uplink consistently continues the further development from the largest radio provider in Germany to the Europe -wide radio specialist. In addition to the Germany-wide operation of well over 1,000 analog and digital transmission systems (FM and DAB+) as well as its own online streaming platform for public law and private radio, the group offers solutions in the areas of IoT (Lorawan), mobile radio (5G) Radio applications and camera solutions for industry and authorities. The core competence of the group of companies with over 60 million euros in annual sales is the planning, structure and the highly secure operation of critical infrastructure.
