Up to 530,000 attended the entry into the “School of Champions” on ORF 1

Successful start to the new ORF series, especially in the young target group 12-29 with a 28 percent market share

Vienna (OTS) The first hurdle for the young ski aces has been overcome! Up to 530,000 viewers were there yesterday, Monday, January 22nd, 2024, from 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1 when ten talents made it into the “School of Champions” and thus took a big step closer to their big dream are. On average, 506,000 people didn’t want to miss the start of the first TV season. The start of the new ORF series about a ski academy, in which the young top athletes not only have to deal with the difficulties of growing up, but also with interpersonal challenges, had a market share of 28 (12 –29) or 26 percent (12–49) particularly popular with boys. In the 12+ target group, the market share was 18 percent.

In “School of Champions”, a mixture of popular TV faces and newcomers take the audience with them on their way to the top of the sport, including Jakob Seeböck, Josephine Ehlert, Gregor Seberg, Simon Hatzl, Thomas Mraz, Ferdinand Hofer, Judith Altenberger , Sonja Romei, Ferdinand Seebacher, Emilia Warenski, Imre Lichtenberger, Luna Mwezi, Mikka Forcher, Moritz Uhl and Anna Thunhart. Anna Veith and Thomas Morgenstern make cameo appearances. Dominik Hartl and Johanna Moder directed a TV series for the first time. Samuel Schultschik was responsible for the scripts.
