Late chamber awakening: UNOS have long been calling for the FLAF contribution to be removed from the non-wage labor costs and for funding from the federal budget
Vienna (OTS) – “If Chamber of Commerce President Harald Mahrer accepts one of the essential UNOS demands, it is probably a sign that he is already nervous. The Chamber of Commerce election is not until spring 2025,” states UNOS federal spokesman Michael Bernhard. UNOS, the representatives of liberal-minded entrepreneurs have also been calling for a long time for the reduction of non-wage labor costs by the FLAF contribution and the financing of the family burden equalization fund from the federal budget, as WK President Mahrer called for in a press conference today.
“However, Mahrer forgot to sweep in front of his own front door,” emphasizes Bernhard: “The Chamber levy 2 must also be canceled.” Companies also have to pay this compulsory contribution from the Chamber of Commerce as part of the ancillary wage costs and the Chamber of Commerce itself would have to change that Hand.
In order to achieve a fundamental reform of the Chamber of Commerce, UNOS recently launched a parliamentary petition to abolish compulsory membership in the Chamber of Commerce under the slogan #FREIHEITstattZWANG: www.unos.eu/petition-kammerohnezwang
