The managing director of IMC Krems, Ulrike Prommer, will also hold the office of President of the Austrian University of Applied Sciences Conference (FHK) for three years in the coming term of office. The election at the General Meeting on November 29, 2024 was carried out with 100% approval.
Demand from politicians: focus on (technical) universities for applied sciences
The re-elected president sends clear words to politicians: “The important role of (technical) universities of applied sciences in application-oriented research and teaching has not yet been adequately recognized by politicians. A new government must now set the course for the future and implement long overdue reforms. This includes an accreditation option for doctoral programs and sustainable financing. This is the only way we can maintain our performance and exploit our potential for Austria as a location.”
says Prommer.
Congratulations on your re-election
The IMC Krems is proud of the re-elected FHK President: “I would like to warmly congratulate my daughter Ulrike on her election as President of the University of Applied Sciences Conference. As before, she will master this challenge with competence and strength.”
said Heinz Boyer, company founder and chairman of the supervisory board of IMC Krems.
