Vienna (OTS) – The “beasts” are taking off on TV! Two sisters from a rich family, two best friends from modest backgrounds and two realities that couldn’t be more different: On ORF ON and in the TVthek app you can find Anja Pichler, Mara Romei, Fanni Schneider and Theresa Riess (“Jeanny – Das 5 “Girls”) have been caught between love, lies and carelessness since January 1st. From February 19, 2024, the eponymous “Beasts” in the latest ORF production written by successful author Uli Brée will also cause a sensation in double episodes at 8:15 p.m. on the ORF 1 series Monday. Live your dreams or dream of a better life: The “beasts” don’t know each other’s world, or only from the occasional envious glance from a distance – but only in one direction, of course. At least for now, because one moment can change everything! The young line-up in the ten 45-minute episodes is completed by Felix Oitzinger, Tamim Fattal, Golo Euler, Felix Kreutzer (“Soko Kitzbühel”) and Etienne Halsdorf (“Days that didn’t exist”).
Audience favorites and acting greats such as Ursula Strauss, Simon Schwarz, Claudia Kottal, Aleksandar Petrovic, Ines Miro, Annabelle Mandeng, Wolfgang Hübsch, David Oberkogler, Selina Graf, Monica Reyes and Daniela Kong stood alongside the newcomers from April to September 2022 the camera. The series was directed by Mirjam Unger (episodes 1–5) and Andreas Kopriva (episodes 6–10), both experienced in high-end series.

Episode 1 (Monday, February 19th, 8:15 p.m., ORF 1)
The “besties” Jenny (Anja Pichler) and Vero (Mara Romei) not only long for a better life, they want to be really rich. But it is clear to the two young women that this will not be so easy to achieve with honest work. In contrast, the sisters Tiziana “Tiz” (Theresa Riess) and Penelope “Nelly” (Fanni Schneider) were born in luxury. Jenny and Vero’s problems are completely unknown to them. Until the moment when Nelly’s spontaneous decision to finally do something good throws the lives of everyone involved into disarray.
Episode 2 (Monday, February 19th, 9:05 p.m., ORF 1)
Pius (Simon Schwarz) tries to save what can be saved after his daughter Nelly’s accident. He uses all means to achieve this. Even though he and his wife Dorit (Ursula Strauss) rarely agree, this time there must be consequences for Nelly, the Sund couple agree. While the news of the accident raises completely different problems for the Tichys: How could this even happen and who should pay for it all?
