Children and food – very difficult. Nothing spicy, nothing green, but lots of sweet. It’s better not to eat vegetables, but rather more meat. There should be children who eat salad or olives. I’ve only heard that, never seen it. So if you ask me: As a child, I was disgusted by cheese and tomatoes – that meant pizza and spaghetti. Instead, I ate salami, Nutella, butter, honey and ham sandwiches.
And if you ask Buddy Oliver, there is a “delicious omelet”, “milk toast” or “crispy chicken”. Maybe I would have eaten it as a child. He has already prepared everything in short YouTube clips and called it the “Cookies Buddies Club”. The children should imitate it because it is so easy. Buddy is 13 and the second youngest child of British television chef Jamie Oliver. Now he is to have his own TV cooking show on BBC. Also a form of child labor. Of course, he started cooking with his father on YouTube. Parents cheering for their children on television – this is a kind of heightened Facebook. The dynastic principle is seen as repulsive by dictators and pop musicians, and promising by chefs (no one can do it better than grandma-mom-dad).
At the end of the 90s, Papa Oliver became famous as “The Naked Chef” on BBC television. He also promised baby-easy cooking for dummies to try. He heard that in his father’s pub. The so-called simple kitchen is still the best selling point. Doesn’t hurt at all! Buddy’s full name is Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver. It doesn’t sound that simple, rather obscure. But that’s what his viewers should decide when they watch his show on their smartphone, reach into the bag of chips and wait for their order: a few Nutella breads, greased by grandma, mom and dad.
