With good news, ÖAMTC congestion advisor Florian Thaler was able to come up with one of the most dilated routes in Austria: “The traffic flows on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in Salzburg, there is a lot going on, but longer traffic jams have failed to do so.”
In Tyrol, travelers on Fernpass Straße (B179) had to prepare for a waiting time, in front of the border tunnel Füssen, the traffic was only handled in a block by block and in the further course there were delays at Reutte.
In Upper Austria and Styria, the ÖAMTC mobility information recorded a traffic jam on the Pyhrn Autobahn on the way south, in front of the Bosruck Tunnel (A9) there was block handling.
Vacation traffic towards Croatia was also noticeable in Carinthia, before the Karawankentunnel (A11) it took around thirty minutes longer and around an hour at the Slovenian-Croatian border crossing Gruskovje-Macelj.
