Kitzbuhel (OTS) – An event that is new in its objective attracts the interest of the tourism industry. This is the “Alpine Hospitality Summit 2024“, which is specifically about the future prospects of the Alpine holiday hotel industry. The event initiated by the Prodinger Advisory Group, which took place on May 16th at the Hotel Rasmushof in Kitzbühel takes place, brings together around 270 decision-makers from the Alpine hotel industry. Experts from banking and architecture, among others, as well as practitioners from family businesses dedicate their day to the current challenges and opportunities facing this important area. This summit has been completely sold out for a few weeks now.
Innovative financing solutions when interest rates rise
A central topic of the “summit meeting” is the question of alternative financing options. The panel discussion “Classic & alternative financing options – where are we headed?“ highlights the dependence of family-run holiday hotels on traditional bank loans. Innovative models such as mezzanine, crowd and buy2let financing will be discussed. Participants in this round include Erich Falkensteiner from the Falkensteiner Hotels, Markus Gratzer from the ÖHV and Florian Zellmann from the Tourismusbank (OeHT).
Deepening the financial framework conditions
The four most important capitalization models traded on the market will also be discussed in depth: private equity models, open real estate funds, crowd funding platforms and multi-ownership. Particular attention is paid to the effects of these forms of financing on small and medium-sized hotels and restaurants.
Future prospects and innovations
In addition to financial aspects and innovative investment models, the summit will also shed light on the requirements of Generation Z. New trends in hotel catering are also on the agenda. The aim of the event is to prepare the industry for the future in the best possible way.
