Divers and cadaver dogs have now found the head and the second foot of a male body in the Marchfeld Canal. The latest evidence points to a homicide, says the Vienna police. “If there was only one foot, identification would have been difficult. Now things are looking much better for the criminal investigators,” explains long-time forensic pathologist Christian Reiter. A week ago, an angler fished a human foot on a fishing hook from the Marchfeld Canal in Vienna-Floridsdorf.
