Cornelia Hütter won the women’s downhill and small crystal ball at the World Cup final in Saalbach
Vienna (OTS) – Policewoman and exceptional athlete Cornelia Hütter created a big sensation on the Zwölferkogel: The 31-year-old Styrian came out ahead of the Italian Nicol Delago and the Slovenian Ilka Stuhec in the last downhill run of the season. With her victory, Hütter also won the downhill ranking.
Role model function
“I am very happy for Cornelia Hütter and warmly congratulate her on this success,” said Interior Minister Gerhard Karner. Hütter’s sensational run shows once again that “our athletes are role models for the Austrian police.”
Hütter has been in the top sports squad of the Federal Ministry of the Interior since 2017 and does her off-piste work at the Carinthia State Police Directorate.
