Vienna (OTS) – A man shot Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico several times yesterday because he was said to have disagreed with his policies. In Germany, physical attacks on politicians are increasing and hate speech, malice and threats on social media are practically on the agenda. Are there only points of view in the political and social discussion, but no understanding? How dangerous is the charged political climate for democracy?
