Vienna (OTS) The ORF children’s program promises a varied summer: On ORF 1 and on ORF ON, from Saturday, July 6, 2024, Kater Kurt will be on “Hello OKIDOKI” together with Christina Karnicnik, Melanie Flicker, Christoph Hirschler and Robert Steiner, every Saturday and Sundays from 8 a.m. on ORF 1, with crazy ideas for lots of fun. From 7.30 a.m. there will be a reunion with the popular “OKIDOKI” formats from “Servus Kasperl”, “Helmi”, “ABC Bär”, “Tolle Animals”, “1, 2 or 3”, “Tom Turbo”, “Trickfabrik”. “, “Rätselburg” and “Schmatzo” an exciting “OKIDOKI” weekend program. On weekdays from Monday, July 1st, there will be entertainment with “Servus Kasperl” (7:05 a.m.) and “1000 Tricks” (7:30 a.m.). In addition, the baking competition “The Big Baking Kids – England’s Youngest Bakers” can be seen on ORF 1 – and subsequently also on ORF KIDS – from July 16th on weekdays at 7:50 a.m.

ORF KIDS is also starting the summer with a new program from July 1st:
The “ZIB Zack Mini” is now also available during the holidays – the children’s news can be seen on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 5:55 p.m. In “Mini Special” (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 5:55 p.m.) there will be an animal focus in summer:
Reporter Julia visits otters, alpacas and the like, learns how to treat different animals correctly and respectfully, spends a day at the animal shelter and learns what is important if you want to adopt an animal. ORF KIDS presenter Lena also gives insights into her everyday life with her puppy Ellie. In several episodes of “Mini Special” the two show how they grow together – there is also exciting information about dogs and dog training. And in the summer there is also a lot of theater on ORF KIDS: several pieces from the “Fairy Tale Summer” production will be shown. There are also numerous series such as “Superhero Kindergarten,” “Barbapapa and Family,” “StoryZoo,” “Zoom, the White Dolphin,” “The Smurfs,” “Cosmo and Wanda – When Elves Help,” “Nadiya’s Baking World” and “Foodhacks with Nadiya Hussain” as well as feature-length adventures with “Pippi Longstocking” and films such as “The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear”, “Madison – Unbridled Girl Power” and “Ostwind”. Summery “Hello OKIDOKI” from July 6th

Kurt the cat has a lot of crazy plans in “Hello OKIDOKI” in the summer and experiences numerous adventures alongside Christina Karnicnik, Melanie Flicker, Christoph Hirschler and Robert Steiner. He tries to overcome his fear of water, wants to invent a sunscreen for cats, creates and mixes the summer drink of the year, celebrates World Cat Day, thinks up an adventure lottery, chooses exciting travel destinations, invents a rainbow machine, wants to be the funniest clown in the world world and opens an ice cream parlor. There are also many exciting contributions: Moderator Christina Karnicnik explains why sun protection is so important. She also spends a day at a circus school. The “Hello OKIDOKI” reporters Heidi and Mathilda transform into mermaids for a day. Reporter Carmen wants to know why there are so many shooting stars in the night sky in summer. Lenny finds out why the dinosaurs became extinct. Alea meets two so-called food stylists and finds out what they do. Theo wants to know whether his dog Bruno understands him and visits a research team at the University of Vienna. Animal lover Anouk researches animals in the big city. There are also exciting book, craft, app and current leisure tips especially for the hot season, as well as summery “Zackig tastig” recipes to imitate.

Series and films on ORF KIDS

In the “Superhero Kindergarten” (from July 26th Monday to Saturday at 6:35 a.m.) Arnold Armstrong trains his protégés to become true heroes. In “Barbapapa and Family” (Monday to Saturday at 6:25 a.m.) the young audience learns how to treat nature responsibly. The animal heroes from “StoryZoo” (from August 6th, Monday to Saturday at 6:25 a.m.) experience many an adventure. “Zoom, the White Dolphin” (Monday to Saturday at 7:25 a.m.) takes the audience to his tropical South Sea island. New episodes of “The Smurfs” can be seen in August (from August 20th, Monday to Saturday at 7:25 a.m.). Many children’s favorite heroine is making her comeback on ORF KIDS:

The ORF children’s program is on tour in Austria again this year with “OKIDOKI on tour”.
