Thorsten Braun becomes the new managing director and CEO of RTLZWEI. He takes over the task at the end of 2025. The exact date will be announced.
The 53-year-old comes from RTL Germany, where he recently was Chief Marketing, Brand & Consumer Products Officer. As CFO/COO, Nicole Glatzmaier remains part of the management alongside Thorsten Braun.

As Chief Marketing, Brand & Consumer Products Officer at RTL Germany, Thorsten Braun was responsible for the entire brand strategy and development of RTL Germany, all marketing activities, as well as the license and merchandising business. Previously, he was the managing director of Super RTL and Chief Consumer Products Officer from RTL Germany. From 2013 to 2020, Braun was head of transmitter and marketing at Walt Disney Company in Munich, after stations at publicis media and paramount.
