Get up close and personal in the studio: special tours, visits to the run-through rehearsals and tickets for the semi-final shows

Vienna (OTS) Austria shows what it can do! This is also the motto in the four live shows of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” on Fridays, from April 26th, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll each welcome ten talents who will come with a new one perform. Singer/songwriter Thorsteinn Einarsson, who was already part of the three-person jury in the first and third editions of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance”, will be a permanent juror in all four live shows.

Thorsteinn Einarsson: “Ten years ago I had the honor of performing in the finale of ‘The Big Chance’ with my own song ‘Leya’. This event marked the beginning of my musical journey – a dream that may have remained unfulfilled without this show. Now, ten years later, being part of the jury of this successful show feels like coming home to me. I’m really looking forward to meeting numerous outstanding talents.”

Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll welcome you to the live semi-final shows on Fridays, April 26th, May 3rd and May 10th, as well as to the big live final show on Friday, May 17th – at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. In In each of the three programs, ten acts show what they’re made of with a new vocal or dance performance. At the end of each semi-final, three talents advance to the grand final. The best nine acts will compete for victory and therefore 50,000 euros on May 17th.

Here you can move into the “The Big Chance” studio! Following in the footsteps of the great talents and aspiring stars, ORF Backstage takes its guests behind the scenes of the casting show with a wide supporting program and brings the fans up close to their idols.

Get up close and personal in the “The Big Chance” studio: The studio is opened especially for children and families during the run-through rehearsals and offers fans both young and old the opportunity to cheer on the artists from the ground floor or the stands. As a little extra, all children receive a fan surprise. Visiting the rehearsals in the ORF media campus is possible on Fridays on May 3rd and 10th at 3:30 p.m.

The 90-minute special tour provides an in-depth insight into the production facilities and background information on the ORF hit show. The highlight is a visit to the large studio to watch the acts rehearse from the stand. Other stops include the rehearsal studios, the talent lounge, costume and make-up and a meeting with one of the coaches. Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll will also be available for a meet & greet and hand out autographs. The special tours take place on Thursdays, April 25th and May 2nd, at 2 p.m. in the ORF media campus.

Anyone who wants to be there live in the studio when the talents give everything on stage to demonstrate their vocal and dancing skills can secure tickets for the three semi-final shows, which will take place on April 26th, May 3rd and 10th May take place.
