These are the nominations for the 2024 Journalism Young Talent Award
Vienna (OTS) –

With the Journalism Young Talent Award, the FHWien der WKW supports aspiring journalists in starting their careers and offers them a platform to present themselves to the industry and a larger audience. The award recognizes outstanding work that was created during journalism training in Austria. It is awarded by the Journalism & Media Management department of the university of applied sciences.

The price will be in four categories forgive:

  • Radio & Audio
  • TV & Video
  • Text (sponsored by “Der Standard”)
  • Multimedia (sponsored by “Kurier”)

The Young Journalism Prize is endowed with 500 euros in each category and is being awarded for the first time this year with the kind support of “Der Standard” and “Kurier”.

For students and alumni of FHWien der WKW there will be a Special price in the category “Best thesis” forgive. An expert jury will evaluate the submitted works. It consists of two industry representatives for each category as well as the respective department heads of the FHWien der WKW.

The winners of the 2024 Journalism Young Talent Award will be presented as part of a… Awards ceremony on Monday, September 30, 2024awarded at the FHWien der WKW.

FHWien of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce (WKW)

The FHWien der WKW is Austria’s leading university of applied sciences for management and communication. Its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offer practical academic training to over 2,800 students. Around 900 people complete a further training program there. Two thirds of the teachers come directly from business. The close collaboration with local companies in teaching and research prepares students optimally for their careers. Since it was founded in 1994, FHWien der WKW has produced over 15,100 graduates.
