“The latest bloody act in Laa an der Thaya shows once again the complete failure of the outgoing federal government on the asylum issue,” said state party chairman LH deputy Udo Landbauer, commenting on the attempted murder of a 27-year-old Afghan on a 33-year-old.
The victim ultimately survived only through rapid emergency medical care and transport by rescue helicopter. “And the taxpayer is left with the costs of this madness, including the costs of imprisoning the perpetrator,” Landbauer continued.
“We can only stop this imported violence with a radical reversal of momentum in the asylum system. The safety and protection of our compatriots take precedence over the rights of asylum seekers,” concludes Landbauer.
