Graz (OTS) – SUNBOOSTER GmbH, a leading company in the PV industry for 14 years, is launching the Sunbooster POWERSTATION GRID on February 2nd, 2024. This is an innovative plug-in energy storage system that is subsequently plugged into any socket in the house and significantly increases the energy efficiency of balcony solar systems via smart control.
“When the balcony power plant generates the most solar energy during midday, no one is often at home. Without the possibility of temporarily storing this valuable energy, it is fed into the public grid without compensation and money is wasted. Our POWERSTATION GRID comes into play here and stores the energy generated during the day in order to automatically feed it in in the evening and at night. The innovation of the patented technology is that the POWERSTATION GRID does not have to be directly connected to the balcony power plant as before and is exposed to weather influences such as rain, high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter, but rather simply plugged into any socket in the living area and for control with Wifi(LK1) is connected.
In addition to daily use as a storage device for balcony power plants, the Sunbooster POWERSTATION GRID offers additional functionalities: In the event of a power outage, up to three household appliances can be supplied with emergency power at the same time thanks to the additional built-in AC outputs. In the event of a blackout, valuable food remains cooled in refrigerators for up to two days. Since the POWERSTATION GRID is designed as a portable storage device, it will provide energy for weeks on your next camping holiday and can be recharged daily using smaller solar panels from the SUNNYBAG and SUNBOOSTER brands. All connections and adapter cables are already included in the scope of delivery. In an emergency, electric cars can also be recharged via the POWERSTATION GRID. Up to 15 kilometers were achieved in a practical test.
