The tree horoscope according to Harry Blümel

The biodiversity in the “Forest of Eternity” Bisamberg inspired Harry Blümel, singer and speaker, to create a tree horoscope.

Bisamberg (OTS) – “In contrast to humans and animals, the beginning of life for plants is mostly unknown,” explains Harry Blümel, “but if you look closely, you can see at what point in time the plants are noticeably active. Buds, leaves, flowers and fruits form depending on the time Plant species at completely different times of the year. This makes it possible to assign trees and bushes to the signs of the zodiac that have fascinated many people around the world for thousands of years.
And this is what the tree horoscope according to Harry Blümel looks like:

Aries (March 21 to April 20): Hazelnut, maple, (red) beech, plane tree, laburnum
Taurus (April 21 to May 21): poplar, white poplar, hornbeam, sage willow, viburnum
Gemini (May 22 to June 21): Linden, birch, fig, mahonia
Cancer (June 22nd to July 22nd): Apple, Cherry, Chestnut, Sparrow
Leo (July 23rd to August 23rd): Black locust, elm, pear, blueberry
Virgo (August 24 to September 23): Oak, olive willow, barberry, honeysuckle
Libra (September 24th to October 23rd): Rowan, larch, hackberry, cedar, blackthorn
Scorpio (October 24th to November 22nd): Walnut, weeping willow, juniper, elderberry, Pfaffenhütchen
Sagittarius (November 23rd to December 21st): Ash, serviceberry, cherry laurel, mistletoe
Capricorn (December 22 to January 20): Fir, dog rose, holly, privet
Aquarius (January 21 to February 19): Hawthorn, pine, Douglas fir, cypress
Pisces (February 20th to March 20th): Yew, spruce, alder, cornelian cherry, golden bells

In the Forest of Eternity Bisamberg / Klein-Engersdorf there are 53 different types of trees and bushes available for natural burials. Many of these species also exist multiple times. There are a total of 230 community trees and shrubs to choose from.

In all “forests of eternity” (Bisamberg, Gießhübl, Mauerbach and Kundl in Tyrol) biodegradable urns can be buried next to trees. For orientation, all trees are marked with number plaques. There are also some themed trees that have their names on bandages, e.g. “Tree of Love”, “Tree of Freedom”, “Tree of the Heart”, “Tree of Joy”…

“In the forest of eternity, every personality will find a suitable tree,” says Elisabeth Zadrobilek, the pioneer of natural burial in Austria. “Whether you are convinced of the positive power of trees or believe in tree horoscopes or otherwise feel like you particularly belong to a tree species or have a kindred spirit.”

Trees from A for maple to Z for cypress

The Forest of Eternity in Bisamberg / Klein-Engersdorf, which Harry Blümel personally looks after with a lot of love, is particularly diverse. “In addition to the existing trees, we have specifically reforested various trees in existing open spaces that are typical of the region and increase the diversity and beauty of the forest. They don’t just appeal to people who enjoy mysticism and esotericism,” says Marlies Zadrobilek, managing director of Naturbestattung GmbH. “The diversity offers visual delights all year round, from the buds, flowers and fruits to the different colors of the leaves!”

Harry Blümel is not only a well-known speaker (as well as at farewell parties at Naturbestattung GmbH. Zadrobilek) but also a popular singer, especially for people who like to dance. Harry’s dance evenings are characterized by a particular variety: “All the songs that I sing have a distinctive rhythm to which men and women can dance a standard or Latin dance,” says Harry Blümel. “Boogie, polka, mambo, tango Argentino etc. are also offered – and line dancing!” Harry Blümel’s concept is becoming more and more popular – more guests at the dance evenings and buyers of his CD “19 Songs – 19 Dances”, which he produced with his own texts and compositions by Polly Seda.

The next dance evening with Harry Blümel LIVE is on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., in the Schutzhaus am Ameisbach, in Vienna 14th, Braillegasse 3.
