While the world looks at conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, suffering in other parts of the world is escalating – often almost invisibly. Millions of people fight against hunger, poverty, violence and the effects of the climate crisis every day.
The CARE crisis report 2024 shows the ten humanitarian crises that received the least media attention last year. As part of one Online press conference CARE presents the results of the report and discusses the following questions: Why do many humanitarian crises remain invisible? What challenges and needs do the people affected have? And how can awareness of these forgotten crises be increased?
