Great public viewing in Melk
Sankt Pölten (OTS) – Together with hundreds of football fans, state governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, state councilor Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister, VPNÖ state manager Matthias Zauner and Wolfgang Kaufmann, deputy mayor of Melk, were excited about the round of 16 clash against Turkey at the public viewing in Melk. “Unfortunately our summer fairy tale ends in the round of 16. The team has managed to ignite unprecedented football euphoria across the country in recent weeks. Big congratulations to the team boss and the entire ÖFB team on the sensational group win and reaching the knockout round. The team spirit of the team was particularly outstanding and contributed significantly to the success. The defeat today doesn’t change the fact that we are incredibly proud of this team,” emphasized State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
