The aim is to promote the effective protection and sustainable development of terraced fields worldwide, deepen the integration of agriculture, culture and tourism, create a distinctive industrial chain of terraced fields, improve the overall competitiveness of terraced regions and create a win- To achieve a win situation in ecological, economic and social terms.

Terraced fields are a model for the harmonious coexistence of human wisdom and nature, bearing a rich agricultural culture and historical memory. They have immeasurable value in conserving biodiversity, ensuring food security and promoting regional economic development.
