The saddlery celebrates its third anniversary with a culinary highlight: an English tasting menu as a tribute to the English chef Lewis Emerson.
Vienna (OTS) – The saddlery at Heinestrasse 25, in 1020 Vienna, not far from the Vienna Ferris Wheel, is known to many gourmets as a first-class fine-dining restaurant. Jürgen Sattler, founder of the gourmet restaurant “Die Sattlerei”: “This year we are celebrating our third anniversary. For us a good opportunity to spoil our guests with exceptional culinary delicacies. Our chef Lewis Emerson, who has made a name for himself with three Gault-Millau toques and 91 Falstaff points, brings the subtleties of English cuisine to Vienna, which has a surprising amount to offer connoisseurs.”
A culinary journey through England
Despite numerous stereotypes associated with English cuisine, English-born chef Emerson has decided to take his guests on a culinary journey through traditional England. The gourmet restaurant therefore serves a nine-course tasting menu that presents traditional English dishes in an innovative and sophisticated way. The culinary journey of discovery through traditional England begins with puffed pig’s ears and ocean pie, continues through Scotch eggs and fish & chips to Roly Poly and offers a variety of varied culinary delights that enchant the travel-loving gourmet group both visually and tastefully.
Fine dining, sustainable and organic food and a bistro line
All dishes in the saddlery are prepared exclusively from sustainable and organic foods, which are processed in the kitchen with the greatest craftsmanship precision. In addition to the tried and tested creations, innovative ideas such as the “English tasting menu” make a decisive contribution to the success of the restaurant. This includes in particular the Bistro line, which was newly introduced at the beginning of the year, which enables new customers to take their first step into the world of upscale, top-class cuisine with inexpensive dishes.
