The second “Repair: Fair” trade fair in the Vienna Museum Quarter was again a complete success: “More than 3,000 visitors and over 600 repairs and repairs are an impressive evidence that the awareness of the importance of the circular economy has arrived in the middle of society”, says Vienna’s climate councilor Jürgen Czernohorszky about the balance of the event on May 23. “Here, visitors were not only able to experience the close link between repair company and climate protection – but above all experience up close how much everyone can help together for the climate neutrality of our city.”
From small repairs on site to second-hand offers, clothing exchange to upcycling workshops: “Our goal is to be able to experience the most diverse possibilities at the Repair: Fair to be able to experience resources and the lifespan of loved ones,” reports Michael Kienesberger, head of the city of Vienna-Environmental Protection: Fair and carried out Fair: Fair: has.
