At a glance: that makes the festival 2025 special
- 100% green energy: Electricity from wind, sun and biogas – produces directly in the region
- 90% journey with the ÖBB: One of the most climate -friendly festival mobility concepts in Europe
- Line-up with attitude: Charlot Brailnes, Moody, Marcry Battman Shtnus Uvm, Thus 50% of the Esstigre
- Cashless & resource -saving: Pay with card or smartphone – fast, safe and resource -saving
- CO2 savings on the last kilometers: Beer & wine are delivered for the first time with e-trucks from the warehouse in the immediate vicinity
In the midst of the historical castle park of Bruck an der Leitha, electronic club culture, climate protection and social innovation melt a special kind of festival experience: The Paradies Garden Festival takes place for the fourth time this year and remains a pioneer in terms of sustainable major events.
Green pioneer: Austria’s first CO₂ neutral music festival
Since its premiere, Paradies Garden has been pursuing a consistently sustainable, certified course – the festival was officially CO₂ -neutral as early as 2022. The entire stream comes from renewable energy from the Bruck energy park, including wind power, photovoltaics and biogas – a model that is unique in Austria with a European role model. The biggest lever for emission reduction is the journey: Around 90 % of the guests travel with the ÖBB – a top value thanks to close partnership. The festival also sets a sign of culinary: According to studies, the fully vegetarian food court halves CO₂ footprint compared to meat-heavy offers. New 2025: Gösser Biostoff provides beer and wine as a partner for the first time via e -truck from a nearby warehouse – for additional savings on the last mile.
Variety of sound with attitude: The Line-up 2025 as a musical statement
Over 60 national and international acts provide musical ecstasy in the Schlosspark for three days – including greats such as Charlotte de Witte, Moodymann, Marcel Dettmann, Eris Drew and Shanti Celeste, which shape the electronic scene worldwide. Around half of the program consciously reserved domestic and regional acts – to promote local club culture and reduction in climate -damaging travel logistics. Paradise Garden also thinks in the Kuration: Many artists are booked: they are booked inside when they tour in Austria or neighboring countries anyway – a smart strategy that combines diversity with ecological responsibility.
Cashless, barrier -free, groundbreaking: Innovation meets responsibility
As the first festival in Austria, it completely dispenses with cash and cashess bracelets. In cooperation with Visa and Global Payments, visitors pay quickly, safe and environmentally friendly with a card or smartphone-this saves waiting time and, according to studies, reduces CO₂ emissions compared to up to 36 %. The festival also has social effects: Pfand mugs can voluntarily be donated to Lebenshilfe Bruck, revenue flowing into regional projects for people with disabilities. In addition, many furniture comes from their workshops – a visible commitment to regional craft and inclusion. The first calculation ensures relaxation: a quiet retreat with massages and multi -sensory sound world – fully operated with solar power and thus a powerful sign of sustainable innovation.
